Halima Aden, the  the first Muslim woman to wear a hijab on the international high-fashion catwalk, covers the November 2018 Elle UK. The 21-year-old model, born in a Kenyan refugee camp, challenges stereotypes by redefining beauty aesthetics and fashion norms, by shifting attention away from women’s bodies.
